Helen Yeates

Helen Yeates is the course coordinator, Film and Television discipline, Creative Industries Faculty, Queensland University of Technology. She specialises in teaching Australian Film and International Cinema. She has published widely on such screen studies topics as drugs, the Olympics and the media; ageing masculinities in crime television; rape in film; and pedagogy and the body. Recently she produced an award-winning short film, '82 with a bullet.

Sherman Young

Sherman Young has recently commenced a PhD (via Powerbook in Sydney) at the University of Queensland evaluating the regulation of online services. He has a Masters Degree in Media, Technology and Law from Macquarie University and can occasionally be found tutoring Media and Network Cultures at Macquarie or UWS. In one of many past lives, he was a new media producer, working on CD-ROM and Internet projects.

Zhu Yunxia

Zhu Yunxia is a senior lecturer in the School of Communication at UNITEC. Her current research centres on Chinese and cross-cultural business communication, discourse analysis and genre study. She has presented papers at international conferences, and published papers in international journals (such as Text, Discourse Studies, Journal of Business Communication, and Business Communication Quarterly), and in the book on cross-cultural communication (edited by Z. Bolebiowski and H. Borland). Her book on Chinese business communication was published by Nova Science Publisher, New York.
