Özlem Tepeli Türel is a PhD candidate at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University, and she has been working as a research and teaching assistant at the same department since 2015. She completed her Master’s degree from the Interdisciplinary Urban Design Program at Istanbul Technical University. During her PhD, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Milan Bicocca, Urban Sociology department for one year. She has been researching issues on cultural and creative industries, social network theory and urban design.
