Her research project, “Sex, Death and Desperation: Infanticide, Neonaticide and Concealment of Birth in Colonial Western Australia,” is an investigation into the practice of child murder in colonial Western Australia from non-Aboriginal settlement in 1829 to Australian federation in 1901.
