Amy Brierley-Beare is a PhD researcher from the University of Adelaide. Her work looks at representations of optional romance in AAA RPGs. In her work, she analyses the patterns, trends and shifts the most popular role- playing games have gone through in exploring digital love. Her research interests include game studies, audience studies, emergent narrative and gendered play.
