Anna Kouhia is an Adjunct Professor (docent) in Craft Science at the University of Helsinki Finland, where she teaches courses in yarns crafts, pedagogy, and textile materials. Her research covers DIY crafting, digital materiality, feminist pedagogy, and practice-based learning of skills, with a particular emphasis on education towards future sustainability. She is currently involved in several collaborative research projects that concentrate on developing better understanding for practicing, studying and materializing crafts.
