Arhlene A. Flowers is Assistant Professor of Integrated Marketing Communications in the Department of Strategic Communication at the Roy H. Park School of Communications, Ithaca College, New York. Her research focuses on verbal and visual literacy, virtual worlds, and social media. Her article, “Parodying Palin: How Tina Fey’s Visual and Verbal Impersonations Revived a Comedy Show and Impacted the 2008 Election,” recently appeared in the Journal of Visual Literacy.
