Dr Bindi MacGill is a Research Associate for an Australian Research Council Discovery Project titled: Negotiating a space within the nation: the case of Ngarrindjeri. Her research focus is concerned with Indigenous ethics of care, border pedagogy and reconciliation pedagogies.  Recent publications include critical pedagogy and practice in schools and the use of 3d interactive torque games as a vehicle for students to engage with the values of reconciliation in Australia. Prior to her PhD she completed a Masters in Visual Arts with a focus on postcolonial theory and the representation of racialisation in western art.
