Christina Malatzky is a PhD candidate from Murdoch University and tutors in Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Western Australia. Working from a regional campus, Christina is committed to the pursuit of quality and equitable tertiary education in regional communities. Her research interests include women's plans for, and experiences of motherhood, maternal decisions about paid employment, maternal health, gender relations in the home and the workforce and the sociology of the female body, particularly issues pertaining to body image.
