Daniel Juckes completed a PhD, in creative writing, at Curtin University in 2018. His research interests include nostalgia studies, Thing Theory, and autobiography. His writing has been published in Australian Book Review, TEXT, Westerly, and Life Writing, and he edited Exploring Nostalgia: Sad, Bad, Mad and Sweet.
