As a former journalist published in The West Australian and Mamamia, and a senior communications manager for the Federal Department of Health and Ageing, Deborah's main interest is contemporary culture and how it relates to practical communication within industry. She has taught units in social media, issues and crisis management, content creation and media law and ethics. As an early career practitioner her interest areas are social justice and activism, particularly veganism and animal rights.
