Ingrid Horrocks is Associate Professor in Creative Writing and English at Massey University in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Her books include Travelling with Augusta, 1835-1999 (Victoria University Press, 2003), part travel book, part history of women's travel, part love story, and a monograph Women Wanderers and the Writing of Mobility, 1784-1815 (Cambridge University Press, 2017). She also publishes on historical and contemporary New Zealand nonfiction in journals such as Biography and The Journal of Commonwealth Literature. Her current project is an essay cycle entitled, Where We Swim.
