Ira Wagman is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies in the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He has published research on the early history of music video programming in Canada, on advertising and nationalism, on the National Film Board of Canada, and Canadian cultural policy. His current research is on the early history of television and the rise of global multilateralism.
