Jacqueline Dutton is Associate Professor in French Studies at the University of Melbourne. She has published widely on contemporary French and Francophone literature and culture, travel writing, utopian studies, cinema, food and wine, including a monograph in French on 2008 Nobel Laureate in Literature, Le Chercheur d’or et d’ailleurs: L’Utopie de JMG Le Clézio (Paris: Harmattan, 2003). She is founder and director of the Travel Research Network www.travelresearchnetwork.com and the Australian Festival of Travel Writing www.aftw.com.au
