Professor James Newman

Department of Media, Film and Cultural Studies, Bath Spa University.

James teaches, researches and writes about videogames and digital media. His books include Videogames (Routledge, 2004) and Playing with Videogames (Routledge, 2008). He is a producer of the GameCity videogames festival (www.gamecity.org) and a co-founder of The National Videogame Archive (www.nationalvideogamearchive.org) which is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University and the National Media Museum.
