Jen Rae is artist-researcher engaged in the discursive field of contemporary environmental art and a scholar in arts-based environmental communication. Her creative practice and research interests include humour and visual literacy, transdisciplinary collaborative methodologies, and ecological futures thinking. Her PhD Art & the Anthropocene was completed at RMIT University in 2015. She currently lectures at the Centre for Cultural Partnerships at the University of Melbourne, and is working on a number of research projects connected with climate and sustainability, food, and comedy.
