Dr Juliane Roemhild is a Senior Lecturer in English at La Trobe University with a research interest in positive affect in fiction, bibliotherapy and the feminine middlebrow.

She is a Shared Reading facilitator and leads the research project “Bibliotherapy: Shared Reading for Wellbeing and Social Inclusion in Response to the Pandemic” at La Trobe University. She is the author of Authorship & Femininity in the Novels of Elizabeth von Arnim (Fairleigh Dickinson UP, 2014).
