Prof Justin O’Connor is Professor of Cultural Economy at the University of South Australia, and visiting chair at Shanghai Jiaotong University. He has previously taught at Monash and Queensland University Technology, University of Leeds and Manchester Metropolitan University. Between 2012-8 he was UNESCO cultural expert under the 2005 Convention. His research interests are cultural economy, urban cultures, cultural policy, cultural labour, culture and international development.
