Louise Richardson-Self is a PhD candidate at the School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry, University of Sydney. Her first peer-reviewed article appeared in Australian Feminist Studies in 2012, titled ‘Questioning the Goal of Same-Sex Marriage’. Louise has also undertaken part of her research at the Netherlands Research School of Gender Studies, based at Universiteit Utrecht. Her research interests include contemporary political philosophy, feminist theory, and French feminist philosophy – particularly the later work of Luce Irigaray.
