Mary Luckhurst is Associate Director Research at the VCA, University of Melbourne. She is a writer, director, and theatre scholar and has written and edited over 13 books. She is Director of the Comedy Lab and her current work focuses on theatre and social change. She is chief investigator on a Hallmark grant on stand up and disability. Her latest book is Theatre and Human Rights since 1945: Things Unspeakable (Palgrave 2015).
