Neroli Colvin is a PhD student at the University of Western Sydney’s Institute for Culture and Society. Her research examines the attitudes towards and understandings of cultural diversity in two schools in a regional Australian town. It reveals the ways in which hierarchies of difference are (re)produced within and beyond the schools and traces the impacts on teaching and learning programs and community relations.
