Peta S. Cook (Peta.Cook@utas.edu.au) is a Lecturer of Sociology in the School of Sociology and Social Work, University of Tasmania (Launceston campus). Current research interests include xenotransplantation, medical science, animals in science, public and critical understandings of science, medical tourism, and embodiment (technological and health-related).
