Ramon Menendez Domingo is a sociology PhD candidate at La Trobe University, Australia. He is interested in the study of authenticity as a cultural phenomenon; particularly, he studies how culture can shape the way individuals think about their authentic selves. His research draws on different disciplines such as sociological social psychology, cultural sociology, sociology of emotions, qualitative and quantitative studies on identity, and mixed methods.
