Sally Charles is an Innovation Learning Manager with the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group (EIG) at Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen.  She is part of the team that runs the EIG Startup Accelerator Programme and has also established short courses including Creative Entrepreneurship, Enterprising Women and Leading Strategic Innovation in Health and Social Care.  Her research interests lie in the pedagogy and philosophy of entrepreneurship, particularly creative entrepreneurship, and the role of entrepreneurship in place and community.  Prior to joining RGU in 2016 she established a design business which she ran for eight years, previously having worked in film finance.  She has an MA(Hons) in History of Art from the University of Aberdeen.
