Sherman Young is associate professor in the Department of Media, Music and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University, where he lectures in new media theory and practice. He research interests include the social and cultural impact of new media technologies. Sherman is the author of The Book is Dead, Long Live the Book (UNSW Press, 2007)
