Ulrike Sturm, BA (USyd), DipLaw (LPAB NSW), BVisArts (USyd), MFA (USyd), is a practising visual artist and teaches Creative Industries and Digital Media at Central Queensland University (Noosa campus) where she is also a current PhD candidate. She was recipient of the Graduate Scholar Award at the 'On The Image' conference at the Freie Universität Berlin in 2014. Her doctoral research focuses on autobiographical visual narratives with a focus on Papua New Guinean artist Mathias Kauage.
