Cruse, Uncle Ossie
Uncle Ossie Cruse MBE, AM is the Senior Elder of Thaua Country, part of the Yuin Monaro Nation in Far South East New South Wales. Having worked for over half a century defending their values in regional, national, and global spheres, Uncle Ossie was the subject of the Australian Story episode “The Peacemaker.” He continues to advise government in the wake of the First Nations National Constitutional Convention held at Uluru, Northern Territory, in 2017.
